Cpp files classified as viruses

Okay so this is my first time reporting a problem with Norton, so I will do my best at describing it. I write basic code for c++ in a programming class that I tutor for. Recently I wrote a small file to simply accept array values and then output them; this code was not harmful to the system in any way, but Norton said that it was. I assumed I must have written something in the file that was harmful without realizing it. Until I just did a virus scan and norton told me I had a virus. I was unsure how I got it, as it was my first in years, until I reading that it was a file I made. A program in c++ to round a number for the user. Absolutely nothing dangerous can come from this program, yet norton insists that it is a high risk file, and wants to quarantine it.

Just putting this out there hoping for a quick fix. Also, if it helps, I used Codeblocks to write both of these files, but that should have absolutely no impact on the files as they are written to adhere to the latest c++ standards, which are recognizable by all compilers.
