I started the Full System Scan in last night and left it working. NIS2010 will finish the job and the laptop stands by automatically after 20 mins. In today morning, I check the result and find that CPU and MEM activities aren't recorded in the Performance page. The status of previous 10hr which includes the Full System Scan is SHUT DOWN. I make the laptop stand by again and wake it up. The latest activity in my laptop is still not recorded.
What's wrong with NIS 2010 in my laptop. It is working fine in my desktop.
By the way, I find another strange thing. In this case, it seems that a Windows function to speedup software launch isn't working.
For instance, if I double click a TXT file after Windows starts up, Windows will read the data for HDD and caches it, so it will take one or two seconds to open NotePad window. And I double click this file again, Windows will find and read the data in the cache, the NotePad window will be opened immediately.
But now, Windows will find and read the data from HDD directly everytime I open a TXT file even the same file when this NIS issue appears.
