I don't even know if I chose the right forum or if it should be "Other Mobile Products". I'm getting pretty disgusted. I've had Norton on my PC for years and thought it'd be great on my Android, so I tried to install Norton Security and Antivirus from Google Play. After it did its scans & told me it didn't like some of my most-used apps, I then received "Homescreen has stopped working" error non-stop until I uninstalled Norton Security and Antivirus. Still hopeful, I emailed the address provided at the bottom of the app info in Google Play. Got

Went to http://www.norton.com/nmobilesupport, explained the situation & got

So here I am. Because I apparently have no choice if I want to use Norton to protect my mobile. Wow. And I thought it was only possible to get this level of a runaround from EA.
