Creating images without installing Ghost

I understand that Norton Ghost 15.0 has "cold imaging" which is the ability to create a system image and recover it without actually installing Ghost on the computer. Am I correct so far?

Would I have to still install the .NET Framework or would this be unnecessary?

There was a video on YouTube in which a guy demonstrated making an image of his system using Norton Ghost 14.0. He did not install the software on his computer. He showed going into the Tools folder on the disc and running the Ghost32 program.

But other people commented that there is no Tools folder.

Can you do this with Ghost 14.0 or do you have to have Ghost 15.0 to do what I've described?
