Credit Card Info not filling in; needs an FAQ

This is absolutely insane!!!  I've had NIS for years. YEARS!!! Whenever "filling in forms" was first introduced with Norton has been the duration since I've had it.

I'm getting really frustrated that I still have to manually enter in my credit card information on random websites. I've reported links time after time after time again and sometimes it isnt fixed.

I said FAQ in the subject line because I think there needs to be, if not already, a way to FORCE a credit card information for sites that dont even implement it.

I've read that a double click inside a credit card field should engage the "Fill In Option" but apparently it doesnt.

Yes I did just report the page; but again I shouldnt have to enter my credit card information if all these issues can be addressed.

What year was it? Norton Internet Security 2011 was the dominant one? Because NIS 2012 was when the structure was changed...that there was no more a button in the header field or whatever that allowed us to say 'fill these in please"

So I just used the recent version of Google Chrome; I looked around but couldnt find a "manually fill in credit card information" so I had to key in my CC# after all.

For that matter how do you manually tell the browser to do it in Internet Explorer 9? 10? 11? Mozilla Firefox?

All Im asking is for a link that shows me how to manually force Norton Internet to fill in these fields because its becoming an on going problem with me.

I buy a lot of stuff online. I shop at:

walmart.com

amazon.com

gamersgate.com

gameflydigital.com

steampowered.com

best buy

PNY Technologies

the list can go on and on and on.  And while most of the time NIS does fill it in; theres still a lot times where NIS will not....so i forget the browser I'm using and use a different browser and again a lot times it fixes itself.....Example:

Using Internet Explorer I am shopping at walmart.com I go to checkout...ooops NIS wont fill in the blanks of my cc #

I launch Google Chrome, add to cart, checkout and voila problem solved.

OR I shop at steampowered.com using Internet Explorer....NIS wont fill in the credit card information, so I use Chrome and voila problem fixed.

Ironically theres some times when I use Chrome to buy and it wont fill in but Internet Explorer does.

Insane!!!

So as I'm wrapping up my /extremely frustrated rant....please tell me theres some sort of FAQ/LInk that shows us users how to force Internet Explorer...Google Chrome....Mozilla Firefox and each of its versions to input a Credit Card when the so called "Double Click a field" doesnt work!

Greetings,

I am curious if you are still seeing the auto fill issues with Norton Identity Safe.

While most sites (we have around 95% efficacy) will autofill, some form fills are unique and won't be filled.

An example would be if the website has dashes in the form field  ---  ---- ---- ----

A couple of options....

As you can imagine, testing all websites is near impossible.  But, we do updates often for sites that users report:  the feature to report a site is in the product. Screenshot.

The other option is to use the icon to drag the credit card number from the fill assistant. While not as convenient, you can grab the icon (three vertical lines) next to the credit card number and drag it over to the field that is not auto-filling.

I hope this helps.  If not, please let me know.
