Here is my situation:
After upgrading my graphics card to something in the $200 price range, I am left with two mediocre graphics cards (my wife and I were both using the same model before my upgrade) link below.

I also just upgraded my hard drive to a SSD, leaving me with a left over HDD. With the upcoming world of warcraft expansion 'mists of pandaria' I want to make sure my wife and I have decent computer setups for this new expansion.
My question is:
I have two graphics cards of the same model, and two HDD's. Are the graphics cards crossfire compatible? I know they do not have a crossfire bridge slot on the graphics card, but I heard you can connect them via external cables. (link below)

If they are compatible, is there any other hardware I would need to purchase to make this possible?
I also want to hook up my old HDD, and her current HDD in raid zero.
Same question: what hardware do I need?
I will be purchasing a motherboard that supports both crossfire and raid zero, I just need to know any other things I will need.
