A few problems have just occured on my notebook that seem to be the work of unknown viruses, scans just cause the notebook to lockup, always on the same directory. CTRL ALT DEL doesnt work, the only way out is to hold the off button down. A scan of all but that directory did indicate a trojan.vundo was removed and apart for that it works OK. The odd things that occur tend to indicate that a virus is at work but Norton doesnt detect it and if the problem is in the unscanable directory how do I fix it ?.

I'd recommend downloading the latest virus definitions for your product. Then boot the system into Safe Mode, and run a scan of your system. Please let us know if anything was found on your system during this scan. Thanks!

What version do you have installed?
