I am running the latest version of Norton 360 (25.6.10221) on windows 11, although the problem exists on 25.5.10141 as well.
I have three partitions C: J: and K:. Whenever I define a custom scan for any partition or file folder, it creates a Full System Scan.
I have a custom file scan defined from a previous version of Norton that works just fine as a file only scan and I do not dare to edit it because I am convinced that the app will turn it into a Full Scan as well.
Does anyone know if there is a solution or if Norton tech support is working on this problem. It really is irritating that the custom scan definitions have become almost useless. It’s almost as if Norton just want us to use whatever they define as part of the app.
