I have been trying to find out just what I should say when I am talking to someone about all viruses, spyware, worms, trojans, bots, keyloggers, malware, rootkits, etc at the same time in these forums. In the past I have called them cyber threats but that sounds old fashioned and I have read posts where people use the term malware for this purpose as well.
What does everyone think? Are we spending our time in these forums trying to rid the world of cyber threats, malware, malicious software, or something else entirely?
