Deactivated

Just a few minutes ago, as I was preparing for sleep, I noticed my computer on with a red sign from Norton saying that my account was deactivated (or something like that). Since that time I have reactivated my account. BUT, I need to know HOW my account, for which we have more than one computer, got deactivated. If you can not help me, please direct me to someone who can. I can't see paying for an important tool like Norton only to have someone go into my account an deactivate my account. I need a promise of security. I have had to restore my computer 2 x since I bought it - within 5 years.

I have Windows 10 Pro.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hi B and A,

Since that time I have reactivated my account.

Can you share what you did to reactivate your account?

Has the PC in question been turned off or disconnected from the internet for awhile (last week or so)?

You can contact Norton Support directly through this Link and either selecting Live chat or Phone support.  Note, If you choose Phone support, you'll need to scroll down on the next page until you see My issue isn't listed above and click on this link.  You'll then see  Please fill out this form and get the phone number.  Once you complete this short form, click Get Phone Number at the bottom.
