Any suggestions on how to eliminate the 'Deal Finder' ad pop-up, malware, from within NIS (or any other Norton product, or otherwise)? Thanks. J_and_J
Thanks, Quads. I think the source is an otherwise 'safe' commercial site, possibly e-Bay. I'm trying to identify any product or procedure that will eliminate the Deal Finder pop-ups. I thought that Norton had a product expressly to defend against Adware, but can't find that product. Thanks, and kind rergards. J_and_J

Hi, J_and_J. Norton used to have a drop down menu where you could choose which particular adware, spyware etc, you wanted to tick.
Now however, it's all bundled in NIS under spyware..
If you want to run a back up passive scanner such as MalwareBytes Free or SuperantiSpyware Free you can, if you wish to check for adware, etc.
They should only be run as passive scanners, and not as real time protection.
Thanks for the advice!
Kind regards
