Deepsight Screenaver

Hello:

When Deepsight Screensaver is active and on resuming, the taskbar disappears and unable to restore the taskbar.

I am using Win 7 Pro. Unless you do a re-start, I tried clossing other applications in the background.

Does anyone have a workaround this? Much appreciated, thanks!

Are there any messages in your event viewer as to what is happening?

This was used extensively on the corporate versions, but I don't recall many users here.  There are two threads from 2008-2009 but no issues reported other than it being a bit hard on system resources.

I don't see any information on it to indicate that it is still being updated or improved.

Hi Hugh,

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it.

I am using Win 7 Pro version SP1, 32-bit, Norton 360 Premier Edition ver. 5.1.0.29

Happens on IE9 and Firefox. Also, if you get back to the laptop or desktop after say..maybe 5-10 minutes

it resumes normally. If more than that time..say maybe 1/2 hr - 1hr, the taskbar disappears. I cannot even

get to the "log-on" screen and have to restart.

Thanks and regards,

Romano

Thanks for the background -- I won't suggest a move to N 360 land since this may not be related to thatproduct being there.

Delphinium certainly knows more than I do about! But then that's easy ....

LOL, not by much, Hugh.

I would suggest checking your event viewer to see if any conflicts are noted under system and application.  That could help.  I  don't know if updating the video would help because the screensaver itself seems to be relatively old.

Make sure that the program .exe's are allowed under the program rules because it updates every 12 hours, give or take, and perhaps add the program .exe to full-screen mode.

I would also recommend a visit to the corporate forums, as they do have some experience with it there.  There were issues with it hanging or causing a freeze on waking up, so they may have more suggestions.
