Just ran my usual Norton security scan and it came up with a report card that is so minimal its not worth the bother. It also shows a link to a video that is about as useless. If I click on the details button of my report card it does nothing. To remove tracking cookies used to be easy for me to do. List them and click on delete. Or not. Now they want me fo pay more than my annual subscription to add an extra that does what previously was free. This is a rip of and a devaluation of the product.
I have used norton since Microsoft existed back in about 1980, and always trusted it. It generally has served me well, but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone know of a reliable company that does not stoop to these sort of depths?
if they wish to add an extra feature and charge for it thats fine if they inform me of options on renewal and accept it then. But to charge a massive price mid contract is a low life practice that is not tolerable.
