Delete billing information

When logged into my account at Norton I go to my "Billing Information".    At the bottom of the "Billing Information" screen are the selectable words "Delete Billing Information".  When I select "Delete Billing Information" a pop up box appears that says "Delete Your Billing Information?"    at the bottom is a selectable button with the word "Delete".    When I select "Delete"  a small circular icon appears and rotates for a little over 3 minutes then the pop up box disappears.     When I go back and check,  my "billing information" is still there.     Why doesn't the "delete Billing information"   button work?   (or even more to the point -  what is the proper way to delete the billing information)    I have already paid for my service.   I do NOT want my credit card information stored by Norton.   Thank you.    (PS:   I have already deactivated "automatic renewal" so there is NO need for Norton to store my billing information)
