This is my last attempt to solve the problem before dropping the product forever (after 5 years or so).
System: Windows7, Norton 360v3.5.2.11 Premium edition.
Issue: I cannot delete the/from the online backup, cannot restore from the online store - I cannot even see the online content. Let me add, that Norton and windows explorer (norton backup drive) does show my online storage as (currently) 54GB capacity (I purchased +storage) & 26 GB available. I never had any problem to back up to the online storage [and saw the statistic of the storage utilization going up] but was stupid enough that I've never tried to delete or restore before.
Before repeating the basics: I know both method how I am supposed to delete or see online content, I read through the messages here, googled the problem AND had two (2) ticket with Symantech helpdesk both ticket ("auto") closed without solution (case id xxxxxxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxxx). The helpdesk request was simple: solve the problem and delete my online storage. [quality is an other story when my local backup was accidentally deleted by L1support].
I dont have any special setting, I disabled firewall, tried hudreds of times ... only complexity that I am using my Norton accounts for years now (mistake?) and sometime (due to credit card change or product change) I purchased new product instead of extending the subscription but usually under the same Norton account. Also, I use Norton360 on more than one computer (as the licence covers 3) and in addition sometime I replaced my PC/laptop with a new one (removing the old from Nortong and adding the new to it).
If you know the pain of dealing with a giant organization's product and standardized helpdesk-processes ... you know my level of disappointment...
Any clue, idea, acient spell or secret you guys can help me with?
