I've been using Norton 360's remote backup feature on several computers, one of which I recently completely reformatted for a clean start. When I reinstalled Norton 360, I used the same name as the old remote backup, but instead of overwriting the prior backup it started a new one. Since I'm pushing the limit on backup storage, I used Windows Explorer to right click on the old backup and selected "Delete."
Now the backup folder is still there, but when I click on it I get the following:
How do I get rid of this old backup?
As an aside, I currently have four paid licenses for Norton 360 (covering nine different computers). However, since I used the same username when registering the software, I am limited to the same total remote storage as I would have if I had only purchased one license. I suppose I could have used different user names for each purchase, but it is obviously much easier for me to consolidate them all together. I just wish Symantec didn't penalize me for it!
