Deleting Norton Backup FIles (360 v3.0)

Hello all,

I'm only new to this community - as I joined it purely to ask this question.

Norton 360 has been bugging me lately >>>>>

Situation: About a fortnight ago I noticed the space on my Hard drive was getting ridiculously low, so I deleted things to expand it. At this stage I assumed the family computor had been filled with too much junk, thus making it so full.
I freed the hard drive up to about 9.7GB, but was still curious to know where the rest had gone.

About a week ago I realised I was once again losing this space, until two nights ago my hard drive went from 3 Mb to 944Kb in the time of about 5-10 minuites (yes, thats right, Kb), and I knew I had to find out what was going on.

At first I freaked out - assuming the worst (A space filling virus of some sort?) and unplugged the modem just incase for hackers etc. (It was all I could think to do).

Some of what was filling the pc was temporary internet files, but only about 4 mb, as I regularly clear that folder with CCleaner.

After trying a numerous amount of things to figure out what was going wrong, I eventually found out that Nortons Backup folder in:

Local Disk>Documents and Settings>All Users>Application Data>Norton> [large folder name with many numbers]> Norton> Backup> 0 (folder)

was taking up 22.7 Gb of space on my hard drive with hundreds of little files.

Now my question: How the heck do I get rid of it????????

I've backed my PC up to a dvd using norton back up, but it won't let me delete whats on the pc.

Any help would be greatly appriciated, and If anyone would like me to elabourate, please ask.
