I have 7 different Dell Precision 390’s, that are from what I can tell the same. I have created a dualboot image with xp and vista. I’ve found that the image will work for the machine I created the image on and no others. I already have images with xp that work on all the 390’s I have as well as images with vista. Is there some limitations with the dual boot images that keep them from working with the other 390’s. Its Version 4.01 SIS.

So far you haven't mentioned a Norton/Symantec Product in your post. Looks like it might be Ghost, but even then we need to know which ghost version.
With my Ghost assumption in mind I'm going to go ahead and move this thread to the 'other products' category, which is where the Ghost threads are located.
