Dell determined these BSODs were caused by Dell SupportAssist Remediation v5.5.16.0 (also known as Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery), and a new v5.5.16.1 as been released to fix the problem. See Dell employee DELL-Daniel V’s 13-May-2026 post in Waddo’s BSOD - Random Reboots - May 2026 Dell Updates - Dell Support assist probable cause in the Dell forum for instructions on how to uninstall the buggy Dell SupportAssist Remediation v5.5.16.0 and update to the stable v5.5.16.1.

The issue is not related to the Dell SupportAssist application; instead, it is related to the Dell SupportAssist Remediation service.
