Deny Page of Search Engine Script Code 001 CE24H redirects to useless sites

I've been having this same problem. It's on a new system that we are just getting things set up on, so could have gotten something while downloading software.

When clicking on links provided by a search engine (we use Google), the first few times, it shows the error message in a pink box: "Deny Page of Search Engine Script Code 001 CE24H" subsequently, clicking on the same links (yes, we all know this is defined as "insanity") redirects to various search term pages and other useless sites.

We ran the latest version of Spybot, which found a few browser-related things, but didn't solve the problem. NAV is running now. Hoping it works, or if someone has any other suggestions.

GMER is suggested in this thread, but I don't know anything about it. How can I find if it's trusted and reliable?

Thanks.
