I am thoroughly frustrated with this program. I backed up my itunes library folder (about 300GB in size) with NSR 2.0 using the file/folder back up option. My hard drive died, and I am now trying to replace the lost files. Unfortunately, when I try to restore the files, I receive a message that "Your search criteria returned more results than can be displayed. Narrow your search to find fewer files." It appears as though the program will max out at 10001 files. Of course, I want to restore all of the files, but the program will not display all of the files, so I cannot select all of the files for restore. I now have a partially restored itunes folder with missing albums for various artists and incomplete files. I have not found any way to narrow the search so that I can copy portions of the folders at a time. Although I can highlight multiple folders, the program will not give me the option to restore the folders. I am left with selecting all (which gives me the incomplete set of files) or going into each individual folder and selecting the files. I now have multiple copies of the same files that have been restored with no way of on restoring the missing gaps... short of individually restoring each folder (hundreds of folders for each different artist).
This is driving me mad. The files are all there in the fbf format, but I have not been able to figure out a easy way to restore them to my system. I would expect that I could simply identify the itunes library folder that has been backed up and have the program restore the entire folder (with all of the folders and files as they existed at the time of the back up). I am at a loss to understand why the limitation on the search function is limiting my ability to restore the folder that I backed up. PLEASE HELP ME!!! Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. gm
