I’m using Norton 360 for iOS. I have a Device Security Risk Detected on my IPhone, but no Fix Now button. What recourse do I have?
When you say the alert still persists, are you referring to the Protection Report? If so, I believe that data gets reset after 30 days or so. Maybe once a month, not really sure.
I did update my iOS so that must be why the Fix Now window is missing. Though, the alert still persists; I’m confident to ignore it. Thank you. This issue is resolved.
When you see the 4 tabs you need to tap on the Security tab. Then tap on Device Security tab and if you have not updated your iOS yet, you should see the screen in my image.
In the Norton 360 app, I see 4 tabs: Security, Identity, Privacy (VPN) and Your Protection Report which says Device Security 1 Risk Detected. A blue, lowercase and circled “ i “ reports “Device Security alerts you to operating system threats that allow attackers to access your device and your data.” Below that is “OK” in blue which erases the message when pressed. There’s no Fix Now button, no iOS Out of Date window, no specific problem stated or solution offered. I did update my iOS yesterday, but the message persists. Without making assumptions, what is the true problem and real solution? And as well, my phone was rebooted.
Have you looked in the Security > Device Security section of 360 to see what is reported? Generally it is just letting you know that there is a new iOS version available. That is what my iPhone showed the other day.
If you tap through to the device security page you should see a Fix now button.
