I've gotten into the habit of running diagnostic report a few times a day, even if there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my computer, just in case. Typically, everything is fine--but at some point a few hours ago, I started getting a big red X next to the network connectivity check--which is odd, considering that I was and am connected to the internet through my wireless network (and Norton 360 itself must have realized this, since it kept downloading and installing updates as per usual). A peek at the details shows that the wireless connection is indeed fine, but something called "Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller" is listed as disconnected. A quick Google search reveals that this is the network card for wired connections. In this case, I would assume the issue is with the relevant driver, since I'm not using a wired connection--but, upon clicking the "Fix Now" option in the diagnostic report and following the instructions, the only problem that pops up is that there isn't a cable connected. Which, again, is fine because I'm connected via the wireless. I use the wireless almost exclusively and this has never popped up on my diagnostic report before.
Should I be concerned at all?
Thanks.
