Using "Norton Security Suite" I generated a "Diagnostic Report" using the "Run Diagnostic Report" link in the "PC Tuneup Details" window. The "Diagnostic Report" contains a section for "Startup Programs." I find 10 Auto Start Programs listed in the report. When I click the "Run Startup Manager" link also in the "PC Tuneup Details" window I am shown 14 Program Names. There is some overlap in entries but each display lists programs that are not shown in the other. The "Diagnostic Report" lists at least one program which I uninstalled a month ago.
I expected the "Startup Programs" section of the "Diagnostic Report" to correspond exactly with the "Startup Manager." Why would these two lists be different?
