Why has a paid service all of a sudden become a platform for ads? I had Norton years ago and I remember being at least moderately satisfied. Now, I run a scan and it tries to sell me add on services, I am minding my business, and a pop up that is difficult to close comes up and tells me I should download a browser extension or register for cloud storage or that 700 million processes are slowing down my PC and I should buy an extension to resolve them. If I was using a free program I could see why this aggressive ad campaign would make sense, but I paid for this service. I will not be renewing, that’s for sure.
