I have a couple of charge plates that will not be recognized by system. Lowes, some gas cards, etc... They have over the required 12 numbers, Is is just that the system doesn't understand them? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

what site or "system" are you trying to use these cards on?
some of those cards are more or less limited to there own site or business
are you checking the balance and its giving a error about the card numbers not correct? for example
