Hi,
Right click NIS icon on the systray then left click "Run LiveUpdate", as per this screenshot:
To Dave20: OK, but I have no Start menu in Windows 8.
BTW can you paste here the Live Update path found in Win 7 menu?

Try searching for "LiveUpdate"
The path is: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Internet Security\Engine64\20.4.0.40\uistub.exe" /lu
Well that's for my PC. Yours may vary depending on the version and whether you use 64 bits or 32 bits.
