Disable the file clean up in N360 from Internet Explorer Temporary Files and history in Tune up?

Dear Forum,

I know that I have previously enquired about the the above message.

If you uncheck the boxes for the Internet Explorer Temporary Files, Internet Explorer History and also now I am worried - Registry Cleanup - does that override what option you have for MIcrosoft?

Would turning on the options provide more protection and make my laptop run faster?

I recently downloaded a file that went to the Temporary Internet File location, which I can not locate - which I think that the tune up would have removed.

I am not computer savvy, so I can not even locate the Temporary location on my computer. So any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi, Melissa. While we're waiting for your image to be approved, I wonder if you've ever tried CCleaner for cleaning up browser histories and temporary files.

It's a very good and safe tool, and you can always use the default settings until you get to know it.

One proviso, do NOT use the registry clean function. Any registry cleaner has the potential to remove critical files.
