Hi Ryan.

I have version 11.1.1 of Norton Antivirus.

So I don't have the Firewall command-line utility.

To give you some background information we have some VPN software that has some troubles with the vulnerability protection feature.

Since I have that feature in the GUI, but I can only find the navx commandline utility.

There is no way to disable any features via the command line in Norton AntiVirus, including Vulnerability Protection. You'll have to use the GUI.

What VPN software do you use, so we can see if we can get the incompatibility resolved? We have tested Vulnerability Protection with Apple's built-in VPN, as well as the Cisco Apani VPN software, and did not notice any problems.

The VPN client I was referring to is VPN-1 SecureClient by CheckPoint.

Did you do any testing with that solution?

Sorry I was away for a little bit. No we didn't use CheckPoint in our testing. We used the Cisco family and Nortel family of VPNs but not Checkpoint.

Thanks for the information. I'll see if we can figure out a way to test with this VPN.

Also, we are planning a major update to Vulnerability Protection soon. You should try and see if the problem is fixed when we release that update.

Thanks,

Ryan
