Disk Optimization setting issue

Running latest ver of Norton Security

Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1

I do not use the Disk Optimization feature prefering instead to manually run the Windows Disk Defragmentation program. So I have unchecked Disk Optimization in Norton Task Scheduling. In fact I have unchecked everything in Norton Task Scheduling.

Today I clicked to run Windows Disk Defragmentation and I got a pop up box saying "Disk Defragmentation was scheduled using another program. Before you can modify the schedule, you must remove the customized settings".

Then there are two selection buttons - "Remove Settings" and "Cancel"

Since this never appeared with my previous NIS 2014 and appears since updating to Norton Security, I can only surmize that NS must have set a customized setting that did not get removed when I de-selected the Norton Disk Optimization feature.

Is it OK to simply select "Remove Settings" on the Windows Disk Defragmentation box?

Will it cause problems with Norton Security?

PS: I cant find an entry in the Windows Task Scheduler addressing this either.
