Norton 360 has created a backup file of 97 Gbytes on my hard drive, leaving me with about 1.5 gigs left. I bought an external 1 Tbyte drive and would like to move the backup to the larger drive. Sadly, N360 has been scanning my drive for about an hour now and seems to be locked. The Backup Settings screen says "Backup Set Name: loading" with no backup location selected.
I used Overdisk see what was eating up my disk space, that's how I identified N360 as the culprit.
I tried to uninstall N360 but the program doesn't come up in the "remove programs" function in desktop manager. What else can I try?
