Display Logins By Title Rather Than Username

Hello All,

On the multi-login dropdown list, is there is a way to display sites with multiple logins by Title rather than by Username? If not, consider this a vote to add such an option.

Where I work, we have potentially 150+ logins for the same URL. The Username depends on the client. Right now, the logins are displayed by Username, and not necessarily in any recognizable order. With over 150 logins, and a diverse team of engineers, the Usernames can be...creative, and not always easy to identify. We've given up trying to get them to assign something mnemonic to help a front-end user log in, so this is a cry for help.

Here is an example of the current arrangement:

For the URL:    "https://thisis.our.com/login"

Logins:    bas7dim, tdkkpp, maxili

Customers: Jake's Bakery, Melrose Florist, A Good Thyme Herb Shoppe

Right now, the selection list displays by Username:

It would be much easier to find logins if the list was displayed by Topic:

It would also be easier on the eyes to search for a "real name" rather than the cryptic Username. At least there should be an option.

If I'm overlooking the capability to display logins by Title, I would appreciate some guidance on how to make that happen.

A bonus would be the ability to sort logins on the drop-down selection.

A grand slam would be the ability to do both.

Thank you,

-Douglas

That's disappointing.

While that might be true in most cases, an option to select the order of display for logins would be valuable.

In my situation at home, I have multiple logins for Webmail addresses, my banking, my family's banking, multiple logins for wireless vendors, charitable organizations, social media, etc.

There are many situations where multiple logins for a given URL might occur, not just in the workplace. I used that as an example to illustrate an extreme multi-login environment.

I can't imagine a simple checkbox and accompanying logic for which order to display logins would be that difficult to implement. If the box is checked, display Topic > Username. If unchecked, display Username > Topic.

Your thread has been moved to the Product Suggestions board.

The reason that the multiple logins are listed by Username is, please excuse the obvious, because you are filling in a Username field. And as Norton products are aimed at Home users, there are probably not many users with more than 3 or 4 logins for a single web site. So there is probably not much call for a list to be listed by a Note's field.

But any suggestions are always welcome.

The suggestion for sorting any logins would be welcomed by many. It was included in the 'old' versions of ID Safe.
