Hi. I have Outlook Email i.e. outlook.com. In a thread I created on MSComm I queried this new beta version, posting that I have just seen this link to it:
In another thread of mine there about a 'long-running script' playing havoc with my outlook, one of the very helpful experts has just picked up on a URL I posted: http://outlook.live.com/owa This shows that I have opted into the new beta version.
But I haven't - I'm 100% confident of that.
Have any of you opted into the new beta version?
If you haven't, does your URL when in outlook show the above /owa?
In other words, has anyone else had their outlook forced onto the beta version?
Thanks All. When I logged into outlook.com just now this is what I saw:
No idea whether the "Get Premium" means that the new beta version is no longer a beta version so I'm checking. Still had no progress on outlook.com hanging in IE11
thanks bjm_. My snip shows "try the beta", which is what yours show so the clear implication is that neither of us has the beta version. Are you using IE11 (see next)?
Yet several have now told me that if I have '/owa' in the URL that's proof I have the beta version.
Thanks too Mehul Patel. Perhaps the solution is in your comment "But it does not work in IE11 where it hangs."
I'll make further enquiries in MSComm and get back - clearly it isn't as clear-cut as they say. Thanks both.
