Win.XP Sp2 - dial up - Outlook Express

question is whether if need the 360 vs. NISS 2009...if money is not an issue (there are rebates for each - difference would be about $20. between the two programs)...
some concerns - i do minimal work on the computer other than read papers, email, etc.; no downloading from websites; no banking, etc; but will download and open pictures/videos sent to me from 'trusted' sources.
"if' i choose 360, do i have the option during the install of refusing a download of any or all of the extra features called ''Tune Up''('if' i can pick/choose any or all of them, do these extras possible cause any addition taxing of 'resources' of computer ?
