My Norton 360 subscription is 4 days away from expiring but I canceled the automatic renewal as I was given a new one-year pre-paid subscription for my birthday. I have entered the product key and now My Subscription shows the current one expiring in 4 days, and the new one as Active.
The problem is that my current subscription (expiring) shows 5 of 5 licenses used, while the new one (active) shows 0 of 5 used. Does this mean that I have to re-download Norton on every device again or will they just roll-over to the latest subscription?
So, although N360 was already installed and updated, it wouldn't let me enter my new product key. In the end I had to delete it completely and reinstall it. Finally it worked.
You install 360 iOS from the Apple App Store app. Search for Norton 360 and install from there. During the install process, look for a Sign In link to sign into your Norton Account to activate the product.
So I've managed to do that on my Desktop, and both Android phones, but I can find no way to do it on the ipad minis (IOS).
I have to say that Norton is PANTS when it comes to renewal. They try to force you to renew at their high prices, but luckily I get a renewal/subscription for my birthday each year. They make it almost impossible to activate with that.
If the new subscription is active then all you need to do is enter the new product key on each piece of software on each device and that will create the new licenses for your new subscription.
The old subscription will expire along with the licenses attached to it.
