Sorry if I don't explain this very well as I'm not very technical. I have Internet Security 2011 and I'm very happy with it. The only thing I don't understand - if I click on the program in my Windows 7 start menu, it brings up a control panel where I can change my settings, do scans etc. When I'm done with all that, do I have to just minimise the control panel so that it stays active, or if I close the panel using the X button, am I turning Internet Security off completely?
Obviously I want it there running in the background and protecting me at all times with the firewall and antivirus, but I'd rather not have to have the control panel minimised so that it appears on my bottom toolbar.
So can I safely close the control panel, or am I closing the whole Internet Security program down when I do that?
Any help appreciated, hope I've explained it okay.
