Norton used to be good AV software for years, I'm a Norton user since their first basic Anti-Vırus software called "Symantec Anti-Virus". My father still using that aged software because of simply modern AVs causing more problems which they supposed to protect our Computers.
This is the picture of that good old Symantec Anti-Virus if you dont believe me or never heard of this amazing 2000'ish AV product.

Now many people reported that they got plenty false detections after they upgraded their N360 to new version, removal of Registry Checker and Norton File Insight from product and rumors that Norton 360 will be discontinued or not. Symantec Employees commenting on this forum only when a newer version published. Anyone of you heard before a "newer" version actually contains LESS features? How that even possible?
My advice for all Norton 360 users, dont upgrade to newer version. Wait for a major patch/fix addresses to this issues people reported. DON'T become a victim bad business/marketing decisions.
OR
try to consider downloading a free AV or a 30-day trial Security Package- its better than less protection and certainly better than your SSD/HDD getting bombarded by n360.exe- keep writing/reading something huge like every 5 minutes.
My point of creating this thread is simply warning Norton users, not creating pointless debates. Its the Symantec's job to warn users and keep them informed about latest news but since they -as usual- failed to do that so someone have to do it.
Personally I will wait for a patch and will stay in 21.7.0.11 version.
