Do we have a lite version of Norton?

Hello Friends,

A couple of years back I installed Norton(an older version) however from the past few months my system has become very slow. When I check the RAM usage more than 38% was used by NORTON alone. Does Norton has a lighter version available - Any advice will be much appreciated.

The two lighter versions in my opinion are:
Norton AntiVirus Plus
Norton 360 for Gamers (especially useful if you have a powerful enough PC, but you need a complete and lightweight antivirus)
