Do you want to trust the website “safeweb.norton.com” to use the “NortonInternetSecurityBF” plug-in?

I have Norton Internet Security 5.6 for Mac. (I recently upgraded my OS to Mac OS X 10.9 - Mavericks).

 The subject question now pops-up every time I go to a URL, unless I've already answered "trust" or "don't trust" for that site.  What does it mean for the site to use my plug-in?  What risk is involved if I say yes?  What do I lose if I say no?
