I have just done a fresh windows 11 install on my new PC. Now every time I boot windows and login this keeps popping up. It so annoying.
Plus is there anyway to go back to how it used to be because since the new ui (a year or two ago) Norton blocks the most stupidest things. On my last pc it even blocked a video editor (loseless cut) i was using because It saw it as a threat and took forever and a day to whitelist.
Honestly I used to love Norton and have used it for years but now it has become a spam fest of its own products which just creates work for the user
Have you worked your way through the pages by clicking Next? Do that once, and it may resolve the issue of popping up every time you start your computer.
Yeah of course i did, quite a few times but that still pops up on every boot of windows
@TigerFury I am now back on the latest release along with the rest of the forums users. Having just installed, saw the same screen as you. I did go through all the steps as you did and it disappeared. For documentation, I got screenshots every step of the installation process, to begin my new journey assisting here with the newest release again. I haven’t rebooted since doing live updates after the initial setup. I will report what I see here for you next restart.

I fully updated and it still pops up for me. It goes after you go through the menu and open norton 360 but on mine when i reboot the pc it comes back again
Just performed a reboot, the screen didn’t appear for me again. Have you tried disabling fast startup in Windows?

Cleared the system temp file from the run box with %temp% command? Restart and recheck?

Neither of them worked but i have sorted it, basically its forcing me to use all features now. I had to enable cloud backup (i use gdrive to do this usually) otherwise it kept popping up, i tested it a few times and as soon as i turned it off and rebooted it reappeared after that i turned it back on and rebooted and then a new persistent pop up forcing me to use the password manager which I’ve managed to fool but still this is a joke.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years but i don’t think I’ll be renewing when this runs out. Its too frustrating now. I want it simple like it used to be
Holy cow, I went past that mess onto the next screens until we were done. Not forced to use anything, I already had password manager installed, I don’t use N360 backup at all, etc.
Selected “Maybe Later”
Skipped Cloud Backup
Disabled the Wi-Fi checkbox here, and in Norton settings one installed. This PC is ethernet only
Continued with manual VPN

Hmmm thats weird, I’ve turned it all off and now its fine. Maybe its because it didn’t register me seeing all the features or something because the password manager menu didn’t come up until i turned the rest on
Weird indeed, monitor the issue for us and don’t hesitate to post back if it reappears again. FWIW, no one should have to agree to using things during setup, period, just to get past a screen. Thanks for the post-back.

You’re welcome and yeah if anything change I’ll post it
