Does NAV/NIS 2009 scan the Master Boot Record?

Someone at another forum has posed that question. I’d hope it does, as there’s a detection for the MBR Rootkit nasty.

Thanks! I suspected it did, but wasn’t 100% certain. Just 99.99%. I know in the old versions, there was the specific option to tell it to.

Personally, I do have early load enabled…
