Does NAV work for Win8.1 in a virtual machine?

Hi folks,

 

I have Windows 8.1 running as a virtual machine under Parallels on a Mac. Does Norton Anti-Virus (2014, I suppose) work in this configuration? I'd like to confirm this before buying.
