Does NIS 2011 still have problems with Steam?

I am having "SecuROM Launcher" crashes with my Steam client, when I try to launch F1 2010 game. I have tried various fixes, but to no avail. The "SecuROM Launcher" keeps crashing from time to time.

 

On the Steam support site, they have listed Norton Security products to cause problems with their client. They have asked to uninstall it, if one is having such issues. Now, that's a huge ask on my part to sacrifice a Security product for a game.

 

Since, I haven't been using NIS for so long, I would like to ask, if it's indeed the program which is causing all the trouble?

 

I'm using Windows 7 x86(fully up-to-date). NIS 2011.

My question still remains unanswered. Does NIS 2011 have any issues with Steam?

You could always try it yourself :D I think nobody here knows whether [hot] steam is compatable with NIS11

There aren't any issues that we're aware of. We test with Steam, so we've been able to certify that we're compatible.
