Hi JPM1920, You can also read this article over here:

http://www.symantec.com/norton/products/library/article.jsp?aid=online_transactions

I copied the following from said article:

[...]Norton Internet Security blocks known keyloggers and other crimeware. With innovative detection technology, it analyzes the behavior of applications to identify anything that even appears suspicious.

I am ignorant of many pc and security terms.  I looked through most of the info furnished and could not see anything that said keylogger.

Could someone explain if NIS 2010 protects against keyloggers, and if yes, which of the functions does it?

Thanks,

JP

Hi JPM1920,

If you go to the link floplot provided, then you will see what kind of functions NIS offers; to see where it says "keylogger", go to the "How it Works" tab, and if you expand the list (click on the + symbol) under "Features", then you will find the following feature:

Norton IdentitySafe offers one-click log-ins and automatic form filling to prevent key loggers from stealing your information as you type.

So this means that when you enter sensitive information like passwords and/or credit card information into your browser when, for example, shopping, then Norton Identity Safe encrypts this information to prevent it from being read. Norton Identity Safe currently supports Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox; you can read more about the minimum system requirements under the "System Requirements" tab.

Thank you very much.  You have an answer to my question.  Now I need to get my Norton Identity Safe setup.:smileyhappy:
