Does NIS scan Volume Shadow Copy?

While running EaseUS ToDo Backup software on another machine, McAfee detected the Artemis!7145757808FF Trojan found on some files in Volume Shadow Copy. Interestingly, the same files on original computer drive do not show the Artemis!7145757808FF Trojan. I don't know if this means that the original files have the Trojan or whether the backup software is adding the Trojan, or whether the Trojan being detected is a false positive.

I also have the same Backup software on my machines.

Does NIS scan the Volume Shadow Copy for viruses and Trojans, specifically Artemis!7145757808FF?

Is there a way to look at files on a Volume Shadow Copy similar to looking at files on a normal drive/directory?

Any other suggestions for determining whether my computer might have a problem?
