Does Norton 360 Automatically Scan USB Drives?

Prior to purchasing Norton 360, I was using Kaspersky Internet Security.  With KIS, I could configure the software so that USB drives were automatically scanned as soon as they were plugged into the computer.  I would see a popup menu appear showing the status of the scan and the lights on the USB drive would flash as the data was accessed by KIS.

Now that I am using 360, I would hope that it would do the same.  However, when I plug a USB drive into my computer, nothing happens.  I can manually scan the USB drive and a Norton menu appears showing the status and the light on the USB drive flash as I would expect.  However, I would like for this to happen automatically.

I have read the threads in this forum and see that people are saying that Norton 360 does scan USB drives and some say that it does this automatically.  However, I have not seen evidence of this with my computer.  Others have written that the scan only takes place when data on the drive is accessed which I am not so keen about.

My question is, is it possible to set up Norton 360 so that it does a full scan of a USB drive as soon as one is plugged into the computer?

Thank you.
