Does Norton 360 for Android block malicious commands sent via USB cable?

I'm not sure whether to activate the Auto Blocker feature on my Samsung phone, since Norton 360 is already installed on it.

it seems that Norton 360 does all what Auto Blocker does, except blocking malicious commands sent via USB cable - a feature that I couldn't find any Norton documentation regarding it.

So:  Does Norton 360 for Android block malicious commands sent via USB cable?

I was not familiar with how Samsung was blocking the USB attacks. I thought it might have been something baked into the OS.

So you are right. You do not want to have more than one security app running at the same time.

Here is a blog on the Juice Jacking USB attacks.   https://ca.norton.com/blog/mobile/what-is-juice-jacking

Thank you for your answer.

I'm glad that Norton does stop malicious commands sent via USB cable (I wonder why they do not document it somewhere).

As for the Auto Blocker feature on my Samsung phone – it is a McAfee app. Wasn't the old rule of thumb: "never activate two antivirus programs on the same machine"?

Norton should stop any malicious commands from running, whether from the internet, an app, or when connected to a USB cable.

If your device has a feature to block the commands even reaching your device, you should enable that. Belt and suspenders approach.
