I have been attempting to clone my old laptop hard drives to a pair of new ones and I am trying to determine if Norton Ghost would fit my needs. My two 250GB hard drives are in a firmware-based (not hardware-based) RAID 0 array, where one of the drives is failing. I am trying to clone the entire (500GB) array to a new 750GB hard drive (of which I have two). The 750GB hard drives have a different block/sector size than the 250GB ones, which has posed problems for other cloning tools (the 750GB hard drives have the "advanced" sector format with 4KB block size rather than the standard 512B). Please let me know if this clone is something that Norton Ghost would definitely allow me to do, because I will almost certainly purchase a copy after all the trouble I've gone to trying to get this clone to work.
