Does Norton VPN create any error messages when the internet services drops?

Does Norton VPN create any error messages when the internet services drops?  I have an intermittent problem whereby VPN reports that the internet has dropped and VPN has lost connection.
My internet provider says that , as they cannot find the problem when they test, there is nothing that they can do about it.  I just need evidence about the times and frequency of the errors.

Have you looked in the Norton History for any entries about the time the issue crops up? It could be something like your router renewing your IP address causing a temporary drop of connection.
