Does Nortons generate a blank screen when a ScreenShot probram is activated?

 

I often use SnagIt to take snap shots or screen shots of all or sections of my screen.

  

Problem: 

 

In SnagIt, one typically clicks a red 'capture" button, selects the area on the screen to capture (for region capture) and the selected information is captured in some form (depending on what one is doing).  I simply capture a section of a screen and save it to a JPG file.

 

Snagit works great most of the time, however, when I have a Bank website active on either Internet Explorer or FireFox, the screen goes BLANK (full white or black) when I click the SnagIt capture button.

(1) Norton Internet Security

(2) Snagit 8.0 upgrated to Snagit 11.0 (same problem)

 

(3) Windows 7 OS;

 

(4) Latest Internet Explorer version; Latest FireFox version;

 

 

 

The Problem only happens with either Internet Explorer or FireFox active AND a bank website active in teh browser.

 

Thus, the problem seems to be a security setting issue.

 

Additionally, I am confident the problem is related to Norton’s as almost EVERY TIME I have an annoying, painful, performance limiting issue with my computer, Norton’s is the problem.

 

 Anyone else have this issue, and if so, do you have helpful hints for me ?
